BODY HIPERHIDROSIS

Get back to feeling comfortable, get back to being you.
"So long" to excessive sweating
Hyperhidrosis is an increase in sweating of certain areas of the body, resulting from an increase in the secretion of the sweat glands. This is usually due to an overactivity of these glands due to nervous hyperstimulation, caused by situations involving emotional tension or stress, the action of pharmacological substances or thermal changes. The most affected body areas usually include the palms of the hands, soles of the feet, armpits, and the craniofacial region.
What treatment do we offer for hyperhidrosis?
At Otium Clinics, we remain at the forefront of treatments for excessive sweating. The main purpose of the procedure we propose to the patient is to block the nerve transmission in the neuromuscular junction of the affected area. In this way, we manage to stop the overproduction of sweat a few days after the infiltration.
The duration of the treatment is usually about six months, and the satisfaction reported after the interventions is very high, as it not only solves the problem; in many cases, a strong social obstacle caused by hyperhidrosis is eliminated: excessive sweating, bad odour, and even skin over-infection.
